The owners of this beautiful Victorian apartment hotel in Kensington wanted to give it a thorough makeover.
Pristine London began by completely stripping out 103 apartments, including bathrooms and communal areas.
When this was complete, we began the building work contract. This included a complete overhaul of the existing Victorian drainage system and temporary works involving back propping over three floors and transferring loads from spine walls.
Nine tonnes of structural steelwork were put in over five floors, with Pristine London taking full CDP responsibility.
We strengthened the floor joists and re-levelled floors in 40 separate apartments.
Over 100 square metres of Mapei Topcem and 50 square metres of self-levelling screed were laid.
